Born in Luzhou, raised in Chengdu, and with family roots in Yibin, I grew up navigating multiple dialects, which not only shaped my linguistic sensitivity but also planted the seed for my academic pursuit in Dialectology. A master’s student at Peking University, I delve into geolinguistics and quantitative dialectological analysis, seeking patterns in language that mirror the complexities of our own experience. Beyond academia, I find joy in exploring new destinations, mostly solo, driving a car rented at the local airport. I also took a gap year upon turning 20, during which I briefly worked as a librarian, an editor, and an English teacher.
